PATROL LEADERS' COUNCIL
The Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC) holds meetings before every regularly scheduled troop meeting at 6:30 in the SLMS gym. Certain leadership roles require attendance or the scout WILL NOT receive credit for the leadership position.
Please note: Troop 14 and the BSA turned down two scouts for Eagle Rank in the last three years because the scout did not fulfill the duties of the role. Plus, it is not unusual for a scout to have his advancement delayed due to not fulfilling his leadership role. Leadership roles for PLC attendance:
Senior Patrol Leader - 85% (when unable to attend, must advise Scoutmaster AND Assistant Senior Patrol Leader)
Assistant Senior Patrol Leader - 85% (when unable to attend, must advise Scoutmaster)
Patrol Leaders - 2/3 of meetings (When unable to attend, must advise Assistant Patrol Leader & ASPL)
Scribe: 85% of meetings (When Unable to attend, must advise Assistant Senior Patrol Leader)
Troop Guide & Troop Instructor: 2/3 of meetings
OA Representative: 2/3 of meetings
May attend, but not necessary: Assistant Patrol Leaders
